	New Wine 2009 in the Channel Island of Jersey will again span the weekend of the May Bank Holiday to make the most of four days of fantastic worship, fellowship and learning for all ages. New Wine Mission: Through the Holy Spirit, we seek fulfilment of this vision by means of: Summer family conferences that aim to envision and empower Christians and churches for worship which is passionate, intimate, reverent and biblical; for ministry in the power and gifts of the Spirit, modelled in a mature, responsible way; for teaching through Bible expositions and a breadth of seminar options, as a means to equip them for Spirit-filled Christian life and ministry in their churches and where they live and work. The work of the New Wine Network that provides local relational support, training and encourgagement for like-minded leaders across the UK and other nations.  In addition to the annual National Leaders' Conference, training conferences (1-3 days in length) are held all around the Network.  We also place strategic emphasis on training church leaders through New Wine Leaders' Retreats and other training events. Encouraging national and international faith-sharing visits to churches that are seeking to grow in renewal, by leaders and other teachers taking out teams of people fr om their churches. Seeing to discern where the Spirit is leading in issues of social responsibility, justice, community and the environment.  Teaching on these issues is an important part of the seminar programmes at Shepton Mallet summer gatherings. Encouraging church planting and other church-based initiatives to reach the unchurched in our increasingly postmodern society. Helping the poor both in this country and beyond through the local church and our conferences. Publishing New Wine Magazine and books, booklets and other teaching materials such as video and tapes as a futher means of propagating teaching that adheres to New Wine values.
